The 60-year-old specialist began his coaching career in 2001. He goes the way from the lower divisions to Italy’s elite. In 2015 has been named coach of the year after an excellent season with Empoli. He then moved to Napoli, where for several years he was a major competitor of Juventus for the title.
Maurizio Sarri inherited Massimiliano Allegri, who became Italy’s champion in the five years of the club. However, he failed to reach the dream of the Champions League trophy, although Cristiano Ronaldo was attracted last summer.
The new mentor is expected to impose a new style of play and Juve to play far more attractive. Serious changes are also possible in the composition. The club wants to attract Mauro Icardi from Inter and Paul Pogba from Manchester United.
